News and Such:

Xmoor Studios has been off the news waves as we begin our big push towards the 2008 calendar. Eric and I are focused upon placing Xmoor on another level and believe that the crop of announcements for 2008 will have a lot of people standing up and paying attention…
As for the rest of the year I wanted to let everyone know that Xmoor Studios will be promoting at the New York Anime Convention Dec 7-9 at the Jacob Javit center.
At the show everyone can pick up issues of GATOW, SEIZE ASYLUM and the limited edition of the INHERITORS ashcan:

We will also have a number of surprises at the show that will be announced before the show including several raffles and chances to win an exclusive Keylon Jakes Bust.:]

Robert Taylor with his Super Humanworks publications has a table exhibiting their books such as GHOST FIGHTER, NIGHTJAK, and RIPPERS created by Regine:]

Also promoting at the Convention will be Steven Harris with his NS Studio’s The FRINGE:

We hope to see some of you at the show.

Back in the trenches

Well to say it’s been a long time since updating our post would be an understatement.

Eric and I are really swamped with the daily grind of putting together Inheritor’s for release in a month or so while also plunging into finishing the fourth issue of Galtow. We are hoping to release some major announcements for the begining of the year for Xmoor Studios and hope that you guys stay with us going forwards.

We are only a few pages away from the completion of Inheritors #1, and the vibe has been nothing but exceptional from fans, and people of the industry including a very eager Diamond Distributor who are breathing down our necks to release this book… Always a good sign.

Here’s a few colored pages from Inheritors #1:

Eric and I will also have a table at next month Animation show at the Javit Center in NYC… I’ll be updating with more info soon.

June is going to be crazy!

June 5, 2007

What’s up folks,

May was a very strong month for Xmoor Studios as we begin the convention season process we started off with a bang at the ECBACC CONVENTION  at Temple University.

To say that Eric and I had a fantastic time would be an understatement. We felt the love and got to hang out with fellow creators. We also had our best single selling day from Xmoor Studios at any convention that we’ve attended. It was a blast to hook up with a master illustrator like Mshindo Kuumba(If you have never seen this talented brothers work you really are cheating yourself.)

Here are a few pics from the convention:

We expect the confirmation from Diamond as to what issue Galtow Three with be in. The people at diamond were very impressed with the new color look and we really want to keep things rolling with several promotions.

I also wanted to announce that Xmoor studios in collaboration with the website Action Figures Times have video taped the Keylon Jakes statue and placed it on Youtube to help promote Xmoor Studios. This is a huge site with lots of promotional potential so check it out:

or go to youtube:

And Finally I wanted to let everyone know that we’ll be at the BLACK EXPO at the Jacob Javit Center in New York city along with The Legendary artist creator Grey! as well as the Multi-talented Steven Harris on June 23-24 so if you’re in the city come on down and say Hi. We will have several promotions, merchandise and a chance to win one of the Keylon Jakes Bust.

Whew! There’s more coming up but I think that’s enough for Now.

Jiya Full & New News

April 24, 2007

Hello everyone.

This has been a month of ups and downs. We are really pushing to get Galtow #3 printed but the POD companies are really kiling production with countless delays. Eric and I are really trying to get a bulk of new Material ready for the Convention season so we are really fighting the status quo.

But My man Eric is really killing the Jiya Bust, just to keep everyone posted, here’s the new update:

Xmoor Studios Would like to introduce you to the latest edition to our line of books.
PARTS UNKNOWN, this is a different direction for our line of books, something in a more Heroish vein. Here’s a little info and a preview of the penciled and inked pages:

Created & written by: Robert Garrett
Pencils & inks by: Beni Olea
Full color 22 page 6 part mini-series
Book #1 available in June

There use to be heroes… Men and women, who could fly, could bend steel… Some you could not see with the naked eye…
Champions of justice that fought evil for over three decades… The Captain, Black Eagle, Damsel, and the Fury. From 1940 thru the 1970’s they were members of the Light Brigade: America’s Champions… It’s just that no one remembers that they ever existed; no one remembers that there were ever any heroes; no one recalls an age when people ascended the imagination… No one remembers the worlds super powered beings — There were never any paranormals… Or so they would have you believe.

Parts Unknown is planned as a six part mini-series with an open end potential.
Beginning as a not so simple case for a highly decorated undercover Detective Jude Jefferson, who’s on a personal mission to apprehend a serial killer, explodes into an international cover-up involving global genocide of an entire paranormal generation.

Detective Jude Jefferson has discovered that super rich financier Jordan Fincher, who will soon be sworn in as the Mayor of New Hope City is involved in several ritual killings of young women around the city. Jude has a vested interest in seeing Fincher brought to justice. The two men were once the best of friends, childhood buddies until Fincher tried to rape his girlfriend/ now his wife in their college days.

Thanks for reading
